We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced legally qualified individual to join our team as an Associate to the Honourable Justice Moore in the Supreme Court of Victoria.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to gain valuable experience working in the Common Law Division of the Supreme Court of Victoria, assisting with the production of judgments, reviewing files and orders, and performing administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with the production of judgments, including proofreading and editing
- Reviewing files and orders
- Performing administrative tasks, including maintaining court records and preparing material for use by the judge in court
- Preparing research memoranda
- Assisting the judge with his duties in managing the Trusts, Equity and Probate List
- Liaising with court staff, the public, the media and the profession
About You
We are looking for a qualified individual with a strong academic record and excellent written and oral communication skills. Two years of post-qualification experience is desirable.
