Hotel Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team. This autonomous role involves overseeing all hotel maintenance and technical issues during evening shifts.

This position is ideal for individuals who possess strong mechanical aptitude, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

  • Daily Maintenance Operations: As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for the daily maintenance operations within the Engineering Team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently to maintain optimal property performance.
  • Hands-on Repair and Maintenance: You will be responsible for hands-on repair and maintenance of plant, equipment, and machinery, including mechanical, hydraulic, and other systems.
  • Supporting Colleagues: Support colleagues across departments to ensure a seamless guest experience.
  • Fixtures and Fittings: Maintain fixtures and fittings in public areas and guest rooms.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Carry out general and preventative maintenance inspections to uphold high standards.

Requirements:

Previous Experience: Previous experience in hotel or resort maintenance is advantageous.

Equipment Operation: Experience with operating various equipment, including small hand tools.

Background: Background in general building maintenance, engineering, or construction.

Flexibility: Ability to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays.
