Job Title

A career-defining role as a Branch Operations Manager is now available in a fast-paced retail environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be entrusted with managing all aspects of branch operations, including sales and inventory performance, debtor arrangements, and stock turns.

You will also be responsible for building the capabilities of the branch network, assisting with the development and implementation of the company's retail strategy, and identifying new growth opportunities.

Your leadership skills will be key in inspiring and motivating teams across multiple services, ensuring a collaborative and high-performing environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage sales and inventory performance, including aged inventory, stock turns, and debtor arrangements
  • Build the capabilities of the branch network in terms of sales and operations
  • Assist with the development and implementation of the company's retail strategy
  • Identify new growth opportunities and build strong relationships with customers and industry partners
  • Manage the branch staffing requirements, including recruitment, rostering, training, and performance management
Requirements

To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Experience leading dynamic sales teams and an understanding of the equine, pet, and/or rural industry
  • Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret and prepare P&L reports
  • Passion for building strong relationships, internally and externally, creating a positive and collaborative team environment
  • Team player with great communication skills and a collaborative approach
  • Demonstrated experience as a people leader, with the ability to upskill and coach
