KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing multiple internal audit, control assurance, and risk management consulting projects concurrently with various team members per engagement, including assisting with planning, execution, and staff scheduling;
  • Aiding in the formulation of client deliverables (e.g., strategic internal audit plans, scope documents);
  • Accountable for conducting fieldwork and documenting findings (e.g., maintaining the audit file);
  • Identifying findings and issues, and contributing to the drafting of client reports;
  • Supporting business development initiatives of the firm;
  • Collaborating with other divisions;
  • Addressing technical challenges and assisting in the preparation of technical position papers;
  • Facilitating the development of team members; and
  • Assisting in the management and coordination of the internal audit team, including training, mentoring, and adherence to methodologies.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

Essential

  • Relevant tertiary degree and/or qualification

Desirable

  • Relevant certification or professional membership

DEMONSTRATED EXPERIENCE & ATTRIBUTES

  • 2-3 years of professional practice experience;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively;
  • Capacity to utilize resources effectively to enhance engagement outcomes through self-management;
  • Deliver value by providing exceptional service in response to client needs;
  • Assist in managing a client portfolio to ensure timely responses to all client requirements;
  • Knowledge and application of practice development skills.
