Job Title: Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist

About the Role:

  • As a key member of the Talent team, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end recruitment process, proactively engaging with top talent and building effective talent communities.
  • You will work closely with our software engineering, quantum sensing, and hardware teams to identify current and future hiring needs and develop strategies to attract world-class talent.
  • With a strong focus on proactive sourcing and engagement, you will be instrumental in shaping our employer brand and establishing Q-CTRL as a leading destination for talented professionals.
  • As a trusted advisor across the business, you will provide ongoing hiring guidance, leveraging market insights and current hiring trends to inform strategic decisions.
  • Additionally, you will contribute to identifying opportunities for employer branding and talent-related marketing initiatives, as well as participating in global talent conferences and events.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 7+ years of experience in a Talent Acquisition role, preferably within a startup or tech-related environment.
  • Proven expertise in proactive sourcing, recruiting, and engaging talent globally, particularly across Australia, the UK, US, and EU.
  • Strong ability to advise, influence, and support diverse stakeholders at all levels within the company.
  • Experience balancing tactical and delivery-oriented responsibilities in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Additional desirable skills include: 4+ years of experience in proactive sourcing/recruiting software engineers, embedded/hardware engineers in R&D/start-up environments, targeting research/science-related skills globally, and proficiency with Lever ATS/CRM systems.
