Graduate Engineering Geologist / Geotechnical Engineer

About the Role:

This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on geotechnical fieldwork tasks, including site investigations, drilling, sampling, and testing of soils and rocks. As a Graduate Engineering Geologist/Geotechnical Engineer, you will work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team, including geotechnical engineers, engineering geologists, environmental scientists, and sub-consultants at a national level.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work under the guidance and instruction of senior engineers.
  2. Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team on geotechnical engineering and environmental science projects.
  3. Implement all company and project-specific health and safety requirements.
  4. Conduct a variety of geotechnical fieldwork tasks commensurate with your role requirements, experience level, and business needs.
  5. Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  6. Understand, uphold, and communicate D&N's Quality, Environmental, and Safety Management system.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Earth Science, Civil Engineering, or Geotechnical Engineering.
  • Strong communication skills in written and spoken English.
  • A passion for fieldwork and commitment to health and safety.
  • A willingness to learn and grow within the industry.
  • The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Australian working rights or a clear pathway to obtaining them.
