Project Security Officer

This exciting opportunity is available for a Project Security Officer to join our Under-Water Systems team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and verifying our policies and procedures, maintaining all security measures in line with quality standards and risk mitigation objectives.

  • Coordinate and manage security measures for the protection of assets within the area/facility based on the conduct of the security risk assessment.
  • Liaise with Corporate Security and Site Management on all defence security issues.
  • Ensure security induction and annual refresher training is conducted to all personnel where relevant.
  • Actively promote a culture of proactive security reporting and awareness.
Key Responsibilities:

Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in security compliance within Defence and international settings.
  • Strong knowledge of security controls, engineering, supply chain, and IT systems.
  • Skilled in influencing, negotiation, and managing pressure.
  • Experience in supporting security investigations and audits.
  • Solid understanding of regulations with the ability to interpret legislation.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, fostering stakeholder relationships.
