We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Habit Coach to join our team at Everyday Independence. As a Habit Coach, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to develop greater independence and achieve their goals.
Key Responsibilities- Support NDIS participants in their daily lives, promoting healthy habits and independence.
- Work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement personalized therapy plans.
- Implement therapy plans, providing guidance and support to participants to achieve their goals.
- Communicate effectively with participants, families, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Studying a university degree in Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology, or Physiotherapy (minimum 2nd year) or have completed a Certificate 3 or 4 in Allied Health Assistance or an equivalent qualification.
- Experience working in a similar role, such as an Allied Health Assistant or disability support worker.
- Consistent and ongoing availability to work, including flexibility to work in the afternoon routines (3:30pm – 6:30pm).
- Ability to travel to regional/surrounding areas.
- Valid Australian driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- NDIS Workers Screening Check and Working with Children's Check.
