About the Role

As a member of our Parks and Gardens team, you will play an essential role in maintaining the high standards of our Memorial Park and contributing to new projects that enhance the look and feel of our facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • You will have lots of variety in your day-to-day work performing general maintenance and construction tasks.
  • You will participate in burial duties when required and assist with cremation duties on a rotating roster.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • You will have the ability to perform a wide variety of manual labor tasks, indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
  • You love dealing with people, are adaptable and flexible, and take great pride in your work.
  • Horticultural, gardening, or landscaping experience is preferred.
  • You must have the capacity to perform heavy lifting, landscaping, and general maintenance duties for extended periods.
  • You will be highly customer-focused, sensitive to grieving people, and able to communicate effectively with the public.
  • You will have a capacity to be at ease working in a cemetery and crematoria environment.
  • You must have a willingness to work cooperatively as part of a team.
  • You will require a current manual unrestricted driver's license.

Salary Range

Our salary range for this position is approximately $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on your skills and experience.
