A leading engineering services company is seeking a talented individual to fill a key role in their team.

About the Role:

  • Contribute to the delivery of multi-disciplinary designs and feasibility studies.
  • Develop and prepare technical reports related to design issues.
  • Prepare equipment procurement packages, designs, calculations, and cost estimates for various assignments.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within teams, across the organization, and with clients.
  • Assist with proposal and tender preparation (estimating design hours).
  • Exhibit basic management skills – monitor workload, remain within assigned budget, and alert supervisor if the budget estimate will be exceeded.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in engineering consulting and EPC/EPCM projects in the mining and resources sectors.
  • Design experience using S3D, HELIX, Rocky, Autopipe, PSFF, Hammer etc. highly regarded.
  • Project and/or site experience highly regarded.
  • Sound understanding of current codes and standards including Australian and ASME.
  • RPEQ or willing to work towards accreditation.
