Delivering exceptional patient care is at the heart of our Specimen Collection department. As a Clinical Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring our clients receive high-quality specimens.
The successful applicant will be responsible for collecting and processing specimens with precision and accuracy. This requires a team-oriented individual who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to follow instructions and work accurately with minimal supervision
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and effective communication
- Positive focus on patient care within a hospital environment
- Commitment to quality management and continuous improvement
This role offers a dynamic and flexible working environment, requiring staff to work shifts across weekends and public holidays. Occasional overtime may be required to support workflow.
Mandatory Qualifications:
- Certificate III or IV in Pathology Specimen Collection (highly regarded)
Key Requirements:
- Demonstrated knowledge or ability to acquire knowledge of standard precautions in dealing with patients and biological specimens
