As a seasoned hospitality professional, we are seeking an exceptional leader to take charge of our premium venues in Ballarat.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering outstanding customer experiences, managing high-pressure environments, and driving growth within the business.

This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for leading the team, overseeing all operational aspects, troubleshooting issues, developing staff, and working closely with owners.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Directing FOH and BOH teams
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance across food, beverage, and licensing
  • Providing financial insights through budgeting, COGS, and wage percentage analysis
  • Managing cash handling processes, including daily reconciliations
  • Overseeing area management, including floor operations, bars, kitchens, and events

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years' experience as an autonomous manager in fast-paced venues with diverse spaces
  • Experience as a General Manager in large format, premium F&B-driven venues
  • Ability to increase revenue through per-head spend
  • Weekend availability and willingness to work across a 7-day roster
  • Fluent verbal communication skills
