Duties:

  • Perform routine welding using multiple techniques
  • Carry out mechanical cutting and grinding tasks
  • Undertake general labouring duties

  • Cut, shape, bend, mould, spin, heat, or hammer metal products to fabricate parts or sub-assemblies
  • Heat treat metal parts and components
  • Set up and/or operate hand and machine tools, welding equipment
  • Assemble parts and structures by aligning and joining them using welding, bolting, or riveting methods

Requirements:

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety protocols
  • Show a positive attitude towards work, displaying initiative and enthusiasm
  • Possess a genuine interest in acquiring new skills and knowledge
  • Hold a valid SA Driver's licence
  • A completed Pre-Apprenticeship course or relevant industry experience is highly desirable

Estimated Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on location and experience. This figure is based on the average salary range for this role in Australia.
