Mater Private Hospital Rockhampton invites applications from experienced Enrolled Nurses to join the Non-Acute Medical Ward on a permanent part-time basis. This is an exciting opportunity for passionate nurses to deliver high-quality patient care and contribute to optimal clinical outcomes.
The role involves providing comprehensive nursing assessments, implementing evidence-based interventions, and advocating for patients' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough nursing assessments of patients using a structured approach
- Implement planned evidence-based nursing interventions within scope of practice
- Act as a patient advocate, ensuring informed consent and respecting patients' autonomy
- Contribute to maintaining a safe and secure environment that promotes personal integrity and well-being
- Adhere to Infection Control policies and practices
- Ensure confidentiality of corporate and patient information
- Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse (no restrictions)
- Recent nursing experience in a hospital setting (at least 12 months post-graduate experience)
- Advanced interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team
