Job Description

This is a high-level, complex problem-solving role, requiring the design and development of high-quality solutions to support business and technical requirements.

The successful candidate will engage in the development and delivery of advanced reporting solutions sourced from data stored in various environments.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to improving data management capabilities by supporting the Data Curation Section in delivering data assets.
  • Undertake analysis, design, development, prototyping, testing, and maintenance activities in a Teradata EDW environment.
  • Develop complex SQL programs within a Teradata EDW environment to build and maintain automated data integration applications.
  • Perform analysis of technical requirements to support project evaluation with proposed solutions.
  • Ensure excellent data quality and high standards in Management Information solutions.
  • Development of ETL solutions using industry-standard tools such as SQL Assistant, Teradata Studio Viewpoint, Pcom, and Control-M.
  • Communicate complex information effectively to non-technical staff using clear and concise language.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Demonstrated 4+ years' experience in at least one of the following tools: Teradata SQL Assistant, Teradata Studio.
  • A working knowledge of programming languages such as SQL, Unix, Linux, and/or JCL.
  • Strong written communication skills for explaining complex information to diverse audiences.
  • Proven experience in designing and delivering data analytics solutions for large and complex projects.
