Job Title:

Accounts Payable Officer

About the Role:

This role involves providing high-quality services and achieving efficiencies in daily operations. The Accounts Payable Officer will be responsible for enhancing the company's reputation and image through exceptional customer interaction and service delivery.

  • Distribution of daily mail, coding invoices, check and confirm bank reconciliations, lease outgoing reconciliations, etc.
  • Maintenance and monitoring of accounts payable for designated clients.
  • Assistance to the Finance Administrator with client reporting and other ad hoc tasks.
  • Ensuring void cheques are actioned according to finance guidelines.
  • Providing a high level of customer service to clients, third parties, and other staff members.
  • Maintenance of high accuracy and attention to detail.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Proven experience in a similar role with a fast-paced and complex environment.
  • Excellent communication skills – telephone, written, and in-person.
  • Intermediate level of competency in office products such as Word and Excel.
  • The ability to 'own' responsibilities and processes.
  • Initiative and the capacity to work within tight deadlines and prioritise workload.
  • Experience contributing to a culture of inclusion and high performance.
  • Sound written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage deliverables on a daily basis.
