Job Description

The Integration Verification and Validation Lead is a crucial role within the Joint Data Networks program.

This position plays a pivotal part in shaping the future of data exchange across the Joint Force and coalition partners, ensuring Situational Awareness (SA) and Command and Control (C2) information is shared effectively.

As the Integration Verification and Validation Lead, you will be responsible for planning and executing the logical and progressive IV&V of component elements into sub-systems, and systems, as well as integrating the system with external interfaces. This includes developing and executing plans and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Create, document and execute integration, verification and validation activities.
  • Elicit / refine / document requirements and create verification statements for requirements.
  • Perform technical risk analysis as required and plan, document and execute verification and validation activities.
  • Develop Verification procedures.
  • Execute and Lead a team during testing with customer involvement.
  • Preparing final reports for customer approval.
  • Participate in major reviews throughout the lifecycle, including Test Readiness Reviews, Physical and Functional Configuration Audits, as well as participating in peer reviews.
Requirements:
  • At least 8 years' experience in an Engineering discipline including involvement in one or more of the following Engineering practices:
  • Requirements Definition, Requirements Management, Requirements Analysis, Design, Integration, and Verification and Validation.
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) (desirable)
  • Ability to work independently under limited supervision.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with numerous stakeholders
  • Initiative, motivation and desire to achieve
  • Knowledge of Systems Engineering Standards (EIA-632 or ISO/IEC 15288)
  • Familiarity with Systems Engineering Tools (e.g. DOORS, Cameo Systems Modeler),
  • Tactical Data Link and RF technologies
