Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled and experienced leader to join our team as a Crew Culture Leader. In this role, you'll be responsible for leading a team of customer service professionals across cabin operations, ensuring compliance with Virgin Australia Group policies, and delivering memorable moments to every customer.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop a team of approximately 130 team members, fostering a culture of strong teamwork and motivation.
  • Work closely with Customer Experience Managers to ensure our people are delivering a truly Virgin experience.
  • Proactively support and manage the health and wellbeing of all team members, ensuring a proactive approach to their needs.
  • Develop and monitor team members' performance in line with Virgin Australia's strategic vision and purpose.
  • Drive motivation and engagement, and foster an environment of strong teamwork.
  • Be responsive and solutions-focused to emerging people matters that may impact the effective running of the operation.
Requirements
  • Minimum year 12 qualifications or equivalent.
  • Leadership experience in leading large diverse teams in a fast-paced business.
  • Leading remote workforces to achieve positive personal and business outcomes.
  • Aviation experience in cabin operations.
  • Trusted people leadership capability.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and engage business leaders.
  • Emotional intelligence; the ability to read, monitor and understand behaviours and respond to affect positive outcomes.
  • Ability to drive positive customer outcomes through a large diverse workforce.
  • Visible leadership.
  • Good understanding of working to the scope of an Enterprise Bargaining Agreements.
  • Strong understanding of change management principles, techniques and tools.
