**Electrical Systems Development Specialist**
The ideal candidate for this role will have extensive experience in designing and developing electrical systems, specifically in the medium to high voltage sector. This includes preparing technical design tender reports, conducting feasibility studies, cost estimation, and designing primary equipment for high voltage substations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing HV plant aspects of different projects, including HV layouts, earthing designs, and technical specifications for HV plant equipment.
- Attending and chairing design review and hazard review meetings, reviewing HV plant design packages as required.
- Providing technical support during contractual negotiations with EPC contractors regarding HV electrical engineering, equipment specifications, testing, and commissioning.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- A degree or master's degree in electrical/power engineering.
- At least 5 years of experience in substation design industry.
- Fluent English language skills, both spoken and written, a current Australian driver's license, and additional languages are a plus.
- International working experience or involvement in global projects.
- A strong interest in renewable energy sources.

- Proactive, able to prioritize workload, autonomous, adaptable, multi-skilled, forward thinking, problem solver, and solution provider.
- Strong organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
