The Student Welfare Officer is a vital member of the school community, responsible for providing pastoral care services and fostering a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and implement wellbeing strategies to support student mental health and well-being.
- Achieve results through accompanying students on excursions and coordinating volunteer activities that promote social connections.
- Build strong relationships with families by engaging in workshops and meetings that strengthen connections between students and their communities.
- Deep understanding of child development and learning processes.
- Demonstrated passion for supporting young people and responding creatively to diverse needs.
- Valid Working with Vulnerable People (WWVP) certification or relevant qualifications.
- Access to ongoing professional development opportunities and study assistance.
- Participation in our comprehensive Employee Wellbeing Program.
- Opportunities to transfer to other schools within the network.
