About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Business Partner to join our team at Cleanaway. As a key member of our NSW team, you will play a critical role in implementing our national and local environmental program of works and risk management strategies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to minimize environmental impact and ensure compliance with environmental obligations.
  • Support the business with external and internal audits, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and implement intervention initiatives, driving positive environmental outcomes.
  • Assist with the development of environmental applications and approvals, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Investigate significant environmental incidents, analyzing data and information to inform performance improvement.
About You

We are looking for a detail-driven individual with a strong background in environmental science, engineering, or a related field. You will possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Tertiary qualification in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience in resource recovery, reuse, and waste management.
  • Incident investigation and root cause analysis skills, with ICAM facilitator accreditation desirable.
  • Prior experience in progressing environmental initiatives and programs.
  • Working knowledge of NSW environmental legislation.
  • Excellent written communication and report writing skills.
