Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Certified Accountancy Expert to join our team as a Semi Senior. The successful candidate will have a strong background in accountancy practice, with experience in preparing accounts, tax, and other responsibilities for a mixed client base.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic individual to take their career to the next level. As a Semi Senior, you will be responsible for leading and managing audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring adherence to audit standards and regulations.

  • Lead and manage audit engagements, including planning, execution, and reporting.
  • Conduct audit fieldwork, testing controls, assessing risk, and documenting findings.
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Provide insightful analysis and recommendations to clients to improve their financial processes and controls.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified or nearing completion of qualification.
  • Previous experience in audit, accounts preparation, corporate taxation, mainstream personal taxation, and mainstream VAT within a reputable accounting firm.
  • Strong technical knowledge of auditing standards, accounting principles, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate findings and recommendations clearly.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including:

  • Salary Circa £42,000 - £52,000 depending on experience and qualification status.
  • 25 days holiday.
  • Opportunity to buy and sell additional holiday.
  • Hybrid working policy, agreed on a case-by-case basis.
