With a geographically diverse footprint, we employ over 4,000 people across 9 cities, produce over 64 million meals and service over 246 thousand flights each year.
Offering a suite of services, we are more than an inflight caterer. We also manage buy-on-board catering programs, provide inflight retail solutions, operate airport lounges and provide readymade meal manufacturing for export, airline and non-airline markets.

Established in 1959, the company ensures the aviation industry operates smoothly and efficiently in 127 airports. Offering ground handling, cargo, travel, and inflight catering services in 85 countries across six continents, dnata is a trusted partner for over 270 airline customers around the world.
**The Opportunity**
We have an exciting opportunity available for a **full-time** **Manager, Employment Relations** to join our People & Culture team in one of our facilities in Brisbane, Sydney or Melbourne or our head office on the Gold Coast.
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the objective of the role is to develop, implement and manage a contemporary industrial relations strategy and framework for dnata catering & retail Australia. The role is accountable for providing expert guidance and advice to all areas of our business and fostering effective union relationships.
Some of the key responsibilities of the role include:
- Working with leaders to co-design a negotiation strategy and roadmap;
- Leading Enterprise Agreement planning, negotiation and implementation;
- Management of external matters and representation at hearings; and
- Development of effective tools and resources for compliant and respectful internal employment relations.
**The Person**
This role requires relevant qualifications, and the ability to influence through formal and information communication. Success will be building confidence through delivering great quality work and taking ownership of the right work. We are looking for someone who brings a contemporary approach to industrial relations and who will complement our team.
