Job Title: Drafting Coordinator
About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled Drafting Coordinator to join our team on a key manufacturing project. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in coordinating and delivering high-quality drafting and 3D modelling services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with company policies, including participating in monthly audits.
- Develop and enforce drafting standards and procedures.
- Establish and manage the drawing review and management system, including revision control and storage.
- Oversee the development and integration of 3D models from OEMs and internal teams.
- Prioritise and allocate drafting tasks in collaboration with the Engineering Manager.
- Create detailed drawings for tender, construction, and fabrication purposes.
- Develop and update 3D models.
- Ensure all drafting is completed to Australian and international standards.
- Actively manage risks and contribute to achieving a zero-harm project outcome.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of drafting experience, including multi-disciplined capital projects in heavy industry.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, health, and environmental standards.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Inventor 3D software, and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel and Project).
- Strong understanding of engineering, construction, and commissioning processes.
- Ability to manage risks and prioritise tasks effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
