Aged Care Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our Bethanie Community South Metro team as a Qualified Support Worker. This role involves providing a range of services to clients in their own homes, including personal care, domestic and gardening services, respite services, and social support.
As a Qualified Support Worker, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and wellbeing of clients, providing respect and compassion, and supporting customers with transport to appointments. You will also be required to provide social support to customers, spending time doing the things they love.
Key responsibilities include:
- Professionally deliver a variety of services, including food, laundry, personal care, leisure, supporting hobbies and interests, and domestic cleaning
- Ensure all living areas of clients' homes are kept clean and tidy, and safe from hazards
- Document all personal care tasks and outcomes appropriately
- Provide respect and compassion to clients
- Support customers with transport to appointments
- Provide social support to customers, spending time doing the things they love
Requirements include:
- A Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual Support
- Previous experience within an Aged Care or Community Care environment is desired, but not essential
- Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team
- Ability to ensure safety and wellbeing of clients are maintained
- Drivers licence, and access to a reliable vehicle
- Current Police Clearance, or willingness to apply for one
- Willingness to obtain required vaccinations
