Clinical Educator

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Educator to join our team at Shepparton Private Hospital. As a Clinical Educator, you will play a vital role in the education and development of our nursing staff, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement education programs for nursing staff, including graduate nursing programs, department orientation, in-service training, and clinical competence programs.
- Contribute to the hospital's quality improvement processes, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care.
- Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services and other stakeholders to develop and implement education strategies that meet the needs of our nursing staff.
- Provide coaching and mentoring to nursing staff to enhance their clinical skills and knowledge.
- Develop and maintain relationships with external education providers to ensure access to high-quality education and training opportunities.
- Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
- Previous experience in an education role, with a strong understanding of adult learning principles and practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with nursing staff, medical staff, and other stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and partnership.
- Highly developed clinical problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex situations and develop effective solutions.
- A competitive hourly rate, ranging from $55.22 to $58.13, plus superannuation.
