**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse and surrounding grounds.

The successful candidate will have experience in janitorial services and general maintenance, with a strong focus on safety and security procedures. You will be responsible for restocking supplies, operating garbage compactors and cardboard balers, and performing routine maintenance tasks.

You will also be expected to maintain a high level of customer service, responding promptly to requests and providing assistance as needed.

In this role, you will work closely with other departments to ensure seamless operations and contribute to a positive working environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleans warehouse floors, offices, break rooms, and restrooms
  • Restocks supplies
  • Operates garbage compactor and cardboard baler
  • Performs routine maintenance tasks
  • Maintains grounds outside warehouse
  • Provides prompt and courteous customer service

Requirements:

  • Janitorial or maintenance experience
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and equipment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Cash handling experience
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and protocols
