Job Summary

  • We are seeking an experienced electrical fitter to join our team in Perth. As an electrical fitter, you will be responsible for performing trade-related tasks such as component overhaul, installation of mechanical and electrical equipment, fit out of electrical equipment, and acceptance testing.
  • You will conduct servicing, fault finding, and troubleshooting tasks; this work may be complex and must meet tight scheduling deadlines.
  • Under the direction of the Shift Technical Co-ordinator, the electrician is assigned maintenance, repair, and service work tasks.
  • You must ensure good housekeeping, safety, environmental practices, and precautions are followed at all times.
  • Complete preventative services, unscheduled repairs, and inspections within the scope of trade knowledge and training.
  • Undertake fault finding and troubleshooting of routine vehicle problems.
  • Inspect and interpret drawings and specifications to determine methods of work.

About You

  • An Australian recognised qualification - Electrical Fitter or WA Electrical Licence is required.
  • Ability to read, interpret, and understand plans, diagrams, drawings, and specifications; capable of reading and interpreting internal and external reports.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing and component overhaul processes and practices is essential.
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written) are necessary.
  • Ability to work independently, organise and prioritise demands, handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously, meet deadlines, and follow through in a fast-paced environment with multiple demands.
