We are seeking a skilled mechanical technician to join our team. This role involves working on the assembly and fitting of marine parts and equipment, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.

The successful candidate will have a trade qualification in engineering - mechanical or equivalent, with knowledge of hand and power tools and ability to work independently and in teams.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assembling and fitting marine parts and equipment
  • Conducting aligning and shimming of main engines/gearboxes and shaft lines
  • Inspecting work to ensure safety and quality standards are met

The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, be able to interpret technical drawings and specifications, and possess good communication skills.
