Program Scheduler Role

This is a 12-month fixed term contract based in Sydney, focusing on the planning and scheduling of television programs.

  • Main Responsibilities:
    • Planning and scheduling of program content, including creation of schedules using excel and program scheduling systems like IBMS, as well as managing schedule changes and amendments.
    • Providing detailed reports to relevant stakeholders, including ratings analysis and compliance with regulatory requirements.
    • Maintaining effective communication with internal and external teams, including publicity, marketing, social media, sales, and content operations.

Essential Skills:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, adapting to last-minute changes and priorities.
  • Experience in scheduling, programming operations, or related roles within the broadcast industry is preferred.
  • Proficiency in IBMS or similar program scheduling systems is advantageous.
  • Strong self-management skills, with the ability to work independently as part of a team and assist colleagues as needed.
  • An interest in the broadcast media sector and its operations.
