Housekeeping Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Housekeeping Team Leader to join our team at Elements of Byron, a luxury resort nestled on fifty acres of absolute beach front paradise. As a Housekeeping Team Leader, you will be responsible for the cleaning and servicing of guest rooms, checking and releasing rooms once they have been cleaned, and training of new staff to ensure that our rooms meet our high standards.

Working closely with the Room Division Manager, you will build and develop a strong and effective team. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization, ensuring that all guest rooms are cleaned and prepared to the highest standards. You will also be responsible for training and developing new staff members, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge required to meet our high standards.

We are looking for someone with previous supervisor or team leadership experience in a similar role, who has demonstrated the ability to supervise and motivate a customer-focused team. You will need to be well-presented, with excellent communication skills both written and verbal. You will also need to be available to work all of December and January, and be flexible to work various shifts including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and motivate a customer-focused team
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Train and develop new staff members
  • Work closely with the Room Division Manager to build and develop a strong and effective team
  • Be available to work all of December and January
