About the Role:This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a BDM with a key focus on growing the broker network, educating brokers on our lending parameters, and boosting loan volumes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recommend strategic ways to develop lead generation
- Identify and convert lending opportunities to expand market share
- Cultivate and deepen relationships with existing and new mortgage broker network
- Educate brokers on our lending metrics and convey our point of difference
- Manage the loan pipeline from enquiry to settlement, ensuring a smooth and efficient process
- Represent the organisation at industry networking events nationally
What You Bring:
- A strong network within the broker market and direct relationships with property developers
- 3+ years of experience in business development, mortgage lending or broker relationship management
- Extensive experience in the banking, non-bank or finance industry and its processes
- Persistent and self-motivated lead generator mentality with the ability to scale the business up and exceed targets
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills
