About the Role
The Branch Manager at the manufacturing site is crucial in guiding and motivating a diverse team of skilled professionals, from administrative personnel to production staff. Your primary objective will be to manage and optimize the essential operations of truss and frame production, ensuring peak efficiency and adherence to the highest standards to meet customer timelines. Branch Managers are expected to be commercially savvy, overseeing both financial and cultural metrics within their manufacturing facility. A vital aspect of this well-established and highly successful organization is to guarantee the delivery of unparalleled service and products to their trade clientele.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all operational facets of the branch, including distribution, manufacturing, customer service, financial oversight, human resources, administration, and sales.
- Initiate projects that enhance operational efficiencies, incorporating new technologies into production workflows while ensuring compliance with Australian standards.
- Strategically plan, develop, and implement initiatives to meet budgets, targets, and company objectives, thereby improving customer experience through superior product quality and service.
- Proactively manage and consistently surpass delivery timelines, maintain clear communication with clients, and uphold the company's dedication to reliability and trust.
- Oversee inventory management, monthly profit and loss reporting, and annual forecasting while exploring new business opportunities.
- Cultivate a high-performing team through effective leadership, coaching, and training to meet all expectations.
- Ensure adherence to all procedures and further strengthen the commitment to a robust workplace health and safety culture.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in an Operations Manager role within the manufacturing or engineering sectors.
- Strong operational expertise with a solid understanding of the residential construction process or supply chain dynamics.
- A passion for sales and a commitment to exceeding customer expectations to maximize branch profitability.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to guide and mentor a team of up to 30 members.
- Highly organized with strengths in planning, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively, alongside strong problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in negotiation and influencing, with a keen commercial acumen.
