As we expand across Australia, the UK, and the US, we're seeking a talented Lead Software Developer to drive key technical decisions and spearhead the development of our platform.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of features, systems, and integrations across our tech stack, ensuring seamless performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Mentor junior developers and foster a culture of excellence within the engineering team.
  • Collaborate closely with founders and product managers to shape product roadmaps and make informed architectural decisions.
  • Set and uphold best practices in DevOps, testing, and deployment.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

  • A proven track record of leading engineering efforts in SaaS or startup environments, with a strong understanding of full-stack development.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to guide and mentor other developers.
  • Deep knowledge of React, TypeScript, PostgreSQL, and cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred).
  • The ability to think critically, balance trade-offs, and make informed decisions that drive business growth.
Bonus Points

If you have experience with:

  • AI tools like OpenAI, Whisper, LangChain, etc.
  • Building integrations with Teams, Zoom, Google Meet, Xero, or QuickBooks.
  • Backgrounds in transcription, NLP, or workflow automation.
