Software Engineering Leadership Role

This is a key position for our technical and business stakeholders as a Software Engineering Manager.

About the Role:
  • Leverage your expertise in software engineering and leadership to oversee teams in a fast-paced environment.
  • Utilize your technical knowledge and experience in Java and open-source technologies to lead software engineering initiatives.
  • Critical thinker with a solid understanding of how to build scalable, maintainable and performant software solutions.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of software engineering, including system design, development, CI/CD, production support, continuous process improvement, and contributing to strategy and roadmaps.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, mentor, and coach engineers and aspiring leaders while building a high-performing yet psychologically safe environment for them to excel.
  • Own the software engineering process, including agile delivery ceremonies, and collaborate with engineering leaders from other teams or platforms to resolve issues that impact delivery.
  • Ensure high code quality, testing, and security standards are integral to the team's culture.
  • Collaborate closely with Product Managers to ensure the team understands the problems they are addressing and be accountable for the reliability and uptime of the applications your team manages.
