Care Worker (Aged and Home Care)


We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care Worker to join our team. As a Care Worker, you will provide high-quality care and support to our clients, enabling them to maintain their independence and quality of life.


Job Description

As a Care Worker, your primary responsibility will be to deliver personalized care services to our clients in their homes. This includes:

  • General housekeeping and making beds
  • Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
  • Washing, folding and ironing laundry
  • Meal preparation and grocery shopping

You will also assist with personal care services, such as:

  • Getting clients out of bed, showered and dressed for the day
  • Assisting clients to take their medications
  • Assisting with mobility and therapy goals
  • Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia
  • Providing social and emotional support
  • Providing the client with transport to lifestyle activities or appointments
  • Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least 3 months of experience in a similar professional role
  • A driver's license and reliable vehicle
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical stamina to perform tasks that may require manual handling
