Job Title: Heavy Vehicle Mechanic

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at Cummins Inc. in the southwest, wheatbelt, and great southern regions. As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for providing a breakdown and maintenance service to our clients, specializing in Heavy Vehicle repairs and maintenance across agricultural, forestry, on-highway (medium and heavy duty), HHP (mining), and marine product applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver a first-class service to our customers across various industries.
  • Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products on breakdowns in the field.
  • Diagnose and repair various engines.
  • Engine rebuilding and reconditioning.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant Health Safety & Environmental policies, procedures, and legislation.
Requirements:
  • Mechanical trades qualified as a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic (to Australian standards).
  • Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of HHP heavy diesel products in field service - Cummins engines is highly preferred.
  • Solid diagnostic and IT capabilities.
  • Strong computer skills are highly desirable.
