Aviation Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pilot to lead our aviation team.

This role involves overseeing and delivering flight training and checking programs that ensure safety, compliance, and excellence in all facets of our operations.

  • Demonstrate reliable and responsive problem-solving skills with a strong focus on safety.
  • Show self-motivation with substantial organisational and decision-making capabilities, particularly in high pressure/stressful situations.
  • Evidence a strong passion for upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.

To be successful in this position, you will require:

  • CASA CPL (A).
  • Current IPC (3 renewals).
  • A minimum of 2500 total flight hours.
  • A minimum of 2000 hours in command.
  • At least 200 hours of night flying experience.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Recent single-pilot IFR (within 2 years).
  • Strong decision-making abilities.
  • The capacity to develop and maintain a learning and safety culture within the organisation.

In addition to the above requirements, your application would be enhanced by:

  • Experience operating aircraft in remote areas.
  • Proficiency in operating Cessna C208 B and Pilatus PC12 aircraft.
  • Knowledge of rural and remote Australia.
  • Current flight instructor rating Flight Examiner Rating Experience and training in emergency retrieval practices.
  • Experience in training and checking in Airborne Law Enforcement (ALE) operations.
  • Experience operating a turbine engine aircraft.
