About the Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Occupational Safety Professional to lead and manage the overall safety performance of our Automated Distribution Centre (ADC) in Kemps Creek. As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in upholding the health, safety, and wellbeing of our team members and customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement safety strategies in partnership with State Managers and key stakeholders
  • Provide direction, advice, and practical support to store area management teams on safety, workers compensation, injury management, and wellbeing related matters
  • Ensure legislative requirements and good practices are achieved within stores
  • Support HSE management systems and initiatives
  • Identify emerging risk exposures, develop and monitor risk registers, and ensure mitigation of identified risks are put into effect
  • Facilitate root cause analysis and incident investigations at a regional level
  • Audit systems and close-out corrective actions
About You

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Extensive experience working in a senior safety leadership role
  • A strong background working in an operational FMCG distribution centre, manufacturing, or automated environment is highly desirable
  • A proven record of successfully implementing strategic plans
  • A proven record of driving and supporting change within teams
  • A proven record of providing technical expertise and coaching all various operational levels
  • A degree preference in a Safety or Legal related discipline (Risk/Hazard Management, Ergonomics)
  • Strong communication skills that can influence great outcomes
  • Knowledge of relevant H&S Legislation
