The following position is available for an experienced electrical engineer with expertise in protection systems.

Job Description

This role involves the maintenance and commissioning of primary, secondary, and communications equipment in various sectors. Responsibilities include:

  1. Undertaking maintenance tasks to approved standards of quality, cost, and time
  2. Maintaining and fault-finding primary and secondary systems according to Australian standards
  3. Gaining experience in maintaining, fault-finding, and commissioning other primary and secondary systems

The selected candidate will be responsible for working safely, complying with safety and environmental procedures, and collaborating with engineering and planning support teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma in Electrical Engineering
  • Qualification in Protection Systems and studies
  • Qualified Supervisors Certificate (Electrical)

Technical skills required include panel wiring, testing, and maintenance of HV electrical and protection systems, as well as competence in Microsoft Office applications and user programs for test and communications software.
