Business Improvement Support Role Overview

This role provides administrative support to the Business Improvement team, focusing on developing and implementing initiatives to improve the Pacific Australia Labour Mobility Scheme.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to enhance the PALM Scheme and its capabilities across the Pacific region;
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish a Cultural Competency framework, promoting effective communication and collaboration among employers, workers, and other PALM Scheme participants;
  • Support the creation of guidance materials to aid staff in managing the PALM Scheme efficiently and consistently;
  • Develop and manage an online knowledge base, ensuring timely access to relevant advice and guidance for staff;
  • Assist with secretariat duties for committees and meetings, coordinating responses with relevant team members.

The Australian Public Service (APS) classification standards accommodate the diversity of roles across the APS, providing clear differentiation between expected work at each level.
