Your Role Will Include:
  • Leading and delivering multidisciplinary projects within the building services sector
  • Applying your engineering management experience to drive innovation and energy efficiency
  • Undertaking engineering design and reviews within a building services environment
  • Preparing and reviewing drawings, schematics, and documentation
  • Working closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide technical expertise and advice
  • Developing energy-efficient HVAC systems and staying informed about industry trends and emerging technologies

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking a mechanical engineer with a genuine passion for re-imagining problems and continuous learning. You will have a broad range of experiences throughout your career and be able to demonstrate how you have worked as part of a team to bring ideas to life. Specifically, we're looking for someone with:

  • A Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Minimum 8-10 years of hands-on experience in mechanical engineering design within the building services sector
  • Chartered Professional Engineer status preferred
  • Project expertise in Residential, Commercial, Health, Education, Sports, and Entertainment, and Data Centre sectors
  • Understanding of industry-leading software such as REVIT (ideal) and IES
  • Skills in design, documentation, heat load calculation, and coordination
  • Strong knowledge of Australian building codes, regulations, and industry standards
  • Proven record in the delivery of large multidisciplinary projects
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients
