Specialist Anaesthetist Opportunity

We are seeking experienced Specialist Anaesthetists to cover our network of surgical lists across Lismore, Ballina and Casino Hospitals. The Lismore Base Hospital is a Level 5 regional referral hospital with a state-of-the-art operating theatre suite, ICU/CCU, imaging, Cardiac Cath Lab and most major specialties and subspecialties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cover Monday to Friday full day lists across Lismore, Ballina and Casino Hospitals.
  • Possible after hours on call, depending on circumstances.
  • Lists routinely commence at 0700 hours each day and go to 1800 hours or end of list.

Requirements:

  • Current NSW Working with Children clearance.
  • National criminal record clearance.
  • Evidence of vaccination/immunisation.
  • Completed all mandatory training modules including eMR and eMEDS prior to commencement.

Remuneration and Benefits:

  • Competitive daily rate for a 24-hour period, all-inclusive.
  • Accommodation if available, hire car and reimbursement of reasonable travel.
  • Roster, consultant/registrar/junior support and any additional inclusions will be advised on application.
