Role Overview

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Anaesthetist to deliver specialist anaesthetic services in a dynamic adult, paediatric and obstetric anaesthesia environment.

  • 12 operating theatres are available for the provision of care.
  • The service handles on par to exceed 12,000 cases annually.
  • A broad clinical experience is provided, including paediatrics, obstetrics, general surgery, orthopaedics, plastics, urology, gynaecology, ENT, ophthalmology and gastroenterology.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Fellowship with the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists.
  • Substantial clinical experience in managing high acuity patients in a complex hospital setting, including Paediatric and Obstetric Anaesthesia.
  • A fellowship with the Faculty of Pain Medicine is highly regarded.
