Job Opportunity

As a Mental Health Clinician, you will be part of a multidisciplinary team delivering focused psychological strategies to meet the individual needs of young people and families accessing our service in a community-based mental health care setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct high-standard assessments, provide psychological, counselling, and therapeutic interventions
  • Develop and facilitate group programs, and offer opportunities for professional development
  • Liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to respond appropriately to mental health and developmental needs
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Hold General AHPRA registration as a Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist, Mental Health Occupational Therapist, or AASW registration as an Accredited Mental Health Social Worker
  • Have extensive experience providing clinical services to young people (12-25 years)
  • Developed judgment and evaluation skills demonstrating a working understanding of assessment and care planning
  • Sound understanding of public, non-government, and private mental health systems and programs in a community setting
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills showing ability and sensitivity to work with individuals who have or are at risk of developing a mental illness
  • Proven ability to work creatively, collaboratively, and effectively as a member of a team
  • Skills in organisation and time-management, including working under pressure and balancing multiple tasks
  • Excellent verbal communication and writing skills
  • Eligible to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance
