At a hotel, cleanliness is paramount. Ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and tidiness in public areas is crucial for guests.

The Role:

We are seeking an experienced cleaning professional to clean and maintain public spaces. Key responsibilities include:

  • Cleaning hotel rooms for check-in and outs
  • Maintaining and cleaning the public areas of the hotel
  • Ensuring rooms are cleaned and maintained to a high standard
  • Checking supplies, equipment and housekeeping trolleys to ensure they are fully stocked and neatly presented for use in guest areas
  • Monitoring room status discrepancies and reporting to the Housekeeping Department and Front Office immediately

A successful candidate will possess:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience working within a similar position in a 4-5 star hotel is advantageous
  • Experience with cleaning public areas of a venue
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to identify recurring cleaning issues
  • Professional manner and exceptional customer service skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and time management skills
  • Friendly and positive attitude
  • Ability to think on your feet and quickly resolve issues
