About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Solutions Developer to accelerate new development and further enhance our innovation award-winning system. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex data applications using Python, MySQL, and Excel.

This is a unique opportunity to work with a young and entrepreneurial organization that is disrupting the way things are being managed in the airline industry. You will have high visibility and freedom to discuss and test your ideas as part of a small and agile team.

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining existing complex systems and acquiring significant business & process knowledge related to the airline industry.
  • Performance monitoring and optimizing current applications for best performance.
  • Designing and developing complex data applications using Python, MySQL, and Excel.

You will work closely with various teams and stakeholders to ensure smooth system integration and apply strong problem-solving skills to address challenges and propose innovative solutions. If you enjoy working on challenging business and technical issues and value opportunities to learn, innovate, design, and solve complex problems, then this role may be suitable for you.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Strong proficiency in Python and SQL (or equivalent languages).
  • Solid knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures.
  • Familiarity with AWS Cloud services (Glue, Athena, API Gateway, Lambda, SQS, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience with production tools such as Jira or Zoho Ticket for task and issue tracking.
  • Proficiency with code management tools like Git.
