Job Description

This role is focused on developing, maintaining and supporting innovative solutions solving real-world challenges in payments.

Your work will impact millions, from designing scalable systems to ensuring integration with key technologies.

  • This includes setting data architecture direction to enable Technology and Platform Strategy delivery.
  • Ensuring data assets are structured, governed and integrated for enterprise-wide scalability, compliance and operational efficiency.
  • Leveraging Confluent, Databricks investments as a true data-platform for internal consumption.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

8+ years' experience in enterprise data architecture, including scalable data solution design and implementation across hybrid environments.

  • Regulatory and Scheme Compliance Expertise:
    • PCI DSS - Secure cardholder data handling, storage and transmission.
    • APRA CPS 234 - Designing data environments and controls meeting information security obligations.
    • APRA CPG 235 - Applying risk management principles to data governance, metadata and lineage practices.
    • Scheme-specific requirements - Supporting compliance with data-related obligations from card schemes and payment networks.
  • Demonstrate Enterprise Architecture Principles understanding:
    • TOGAF or similar frameworks.
    • Business capability modelling.
    • Architecture governance and standards.
