We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our dynamic team in Brisbane, Australia.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing process engineering design tasks, including preparing PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, reports, and design criteria to support complex engineering projects such as water, wastewater, recycled water, resource recovery, biosolids, and odour treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders in client project requirement meetings, coordination meetings with internal and/or external consultants, owner and contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors in preparation and coordination of project specifications.
  • Perform calculations to analyse, model, and design process components using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software.
  • Contribute to the development of processes through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats.
  • Prepare process engineering documents by developing process specifications, plans, and schedules.
  • Work and coordinate with a multi-disciplinary design team to ensure constructability of the process designs and compatibility with the design intent.
  • Assist in the preparation of engineering project documents, client presentations, client contact, and communication pertaining to specific project deliverables.
  • Assist with site investigations as well as commissioning and construction support works as required by the projects.
  • Participate in value engineering and basic cost estimating to support engineering projects.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Engineering, with relevant professional experience in the water and wastewater industry.
  • Highly developed interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Highly developed consulting skills to liaise with clients and other stakeholders to achieve mutually successful project outcomes.
