Senior Process Engineer - Water Infrastructure Specialist
About the Role:We are seeking an experienced Senior Process Engineer to join our Water team in Australia. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing process engineering design tasks, including preparing PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, reports, and design criteria to support complex engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:- Perform process engineering design tasks, including preparing PFDs, P&IDs, calculations, reports, and design criteria.
- Collaborate with stakeholders in client project requirement meetings, coordination meetings with internal and/or external consultants, owner and contractor, sub-contractors, and vendors.
- Perform calculations to analyze, model, and design process components using company standard software and proprietary manufacturer software.
- Contribute to the development of processes through sketches, electronic models, diagrams, and other visual formats.
- Prepare process engineering documents by developing process specifications, plans, and schedules.
- Assist in the preparation of engineering project documents, client presentations, client contact, and communication pertaining to specific project deliverables.
- Assist with site investigations as well as commissioning and construction support works as required by the projects.
- Participate in value engineering and basic cost estimating to support engineering projects.
- Provide mentoring, work checking, and informal guidance to graduate level staff.
- Tertiary qualification in Engineering, with relevant professional experience in the water and wastewater industry.
- Highly developed interpersonal skills to develop and maintain positive relationships with internal and external clients.
- Highly developed consulting skills to liaise with clients and other stakeholders to achieve mutually successful project outcomes.
